And the best time of the year has come as Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2019 collection has started with a bang. For an event of this stature, the opening ceremony should be kickass and well, there's no complaint as it has completely lived up to the mark because we got to see the deadly combination of Manish Malhotra and Katrina Kaif who was the showstopper for the show. Katrina became the muse for Manish Malhotra at the Lakme Fashion Week 2019. With utmost grace and poise, the actress stole hearts as she sizzled in a black lehenga. Ace designer Manish Malhotra showcased his latest collection titled Maahrumysha and launch a wash-care range Love & Care.
Kaif wore a Manish Malhotra creation with a pitch-black blouse which has a plunging neckline and ruffles sleeves, teaming it a Kundan set. Leaving her beautiful tresses a bit messy, minimal jewellery and with bare minerals, the Bharat actress looked nothing less than a goddess. She let her heavily embellished black lehenga do the talking while she takes over the ramp. Talking about the other contestants, as we know, Kareena Kapoor will pull the curtains down like every season. During the LFW 2019 Winter/Festive collection Grand Finale, Bebo will set the ramp ablaze with ace designer Gauri and Nainika. Diana Penty and Ananya Panday will also walk the ramp.
We have shared the schedule of the show with you guys as well. This season, The Sustainable Fashion Day will be on 22nd August, i.e, Day 2 of the of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive '19. The shows on all five days will commence at 12 pm on all days except for Day 2. On Day 2, it will start at 9.30 in the morning.
